When someone famous dies, we very irreverently say repeatedly "He/she's still dead" for as long as the news keeps it up. To me the news itself is disrespectful.
This news scared the cr*p out of me. My husband is 57, his dad died of pancreatic cancer, hubby has scar tissue, cysts and an open lesion on his pancreas. They do an MRI once a yr. but any med info will tell you that an MRI is not the best way to detect pancreatic cancer. If you don't catch this very early, it's a death sentence. And there are zero early warning signs.
So I had a minor freak out when I heard the news...sorry for rambling. Sigh!
