His show sucked anyway!!!!!!

I come from the same neighborhood in Houston, twelve years younger though. We both worked at the Windmill Dinner Theater in high school.

He was a decent actor and a really good guy. I raised my glass to him at dinner.

It is so sad and also hits so close as I am just starting my Chemo for my Breast Cancer this Friday.

Every time I would hear of someone famous who had cancer before my diagnosis I would think they have a much better chance of surviving then someone who doesn't have all the money and resources they do.

But I have come to realize that cancer doesn't care if your famous or rich it is a disease that does not discriminate, its going to put you through hell and possibly kill you no matter who you are.

RIP Patrick, may you find some peace from the beast you fought so hard against.

Another note I'd like to point out is that he had Pancreatic Cancer. While most people rarely hear about this specific type, it's actually very swift and deadly. And a number of famous people died from it, including:

Micheal Landon 54; Joan Crawford 74; Bill Hicks 32; Fred Gwynne 66; Donna Reed 64; and Count Basie 79.

This is but a small list and as far as world wide goes, it's even smaller.

It's main reason for having such a poor prognosis is that it usually gives no signs until its already in it advanced stages.

He struggled with it for 20 months. What a fighter... It usually takes you out rather quick. I remember watching him dancing in in dirty dancing and drooling over him

. I was so in love lol. And how I bawled my eyes out when he went to heaven in ghost. I still do that everytime I watch that movie. I think that movie is going to have more of a sentimental feel to it now. You know, the whole going to heaven thing.

I was already depressed and this news just triggered me more. I hate cancer with a passion. I loved Ghost btw. He will be missed.

Too bad. He seemed like a genuine good guy. Nothing fake about him. Married to the same beautiful woman for thirty years. She must be devastated. God bless them both.
