to count for something. I still have to clean the bathroom but since the daughter opened up wet food for the cats after I told her not to she will be helping me clean to get ungrounded.
I LOVE this topic...um, food that is...seems like there is a good joke about nuts here...but I will refrain.
The only way to lose weight is by eating less than your body needs. Exercise can help you to increase the amount of calories your body needs.
Macadamia nuts are yummy but they are pretty low in protein, if you look at the ratio of protein to calories--a half cup has 5 grams protein but almost 500 calories! Nuts have many nutritional benefits... But 1 cup of chopped chicken breast has 43 gm protein and only 230 calories.
But Macadamia nuts have anti-inflammatory qualities and other good nutrition in them...just eat a few--10 nuts you will have eaten from 160 to 190 calories and only about 1gm of protein. Most of their calories come from fat.
Sorry to be so long, but it is food for thought!
