One the descriptions of Bipolar disorder is recklessness with money. I'm Bipolar 2 and I don't have this. I'm the opposite and very tight with money. I've always been like this. I don't know why. I don't think I'm cheap but frugal especially now that I don't work.
I worry about money a lot. I'm afraid of running out or having it stolen. It's such an awful burden to carry. That's one reason I'm trying to get back to work.
What are you experiences with money worries.

Many things go into how a person develops their "social, personal, financial" habits, just because something is a symptom of a Disease you may have it doesn't mean you'll have it. BiPolar in all types has many different symptoms in many different combinations, everyone gets a different mix.
When I started to work, after a Really Long Absence, I started to save just 10% of my pay and right into the saving account it when as soon as I cashed my check.
I do the same with my social security check, $50.00 goes in at the 3rd of the month when I get it...I don't have any savings and have been scraping by for years until I turned 65 and got my pension...with that money I'm paying down that 6000.00, and trying...trying....to do the same, put 50.00 of that money into savings...
