I bought two of my daughter's DS games online through ebay. I bought her DS early over the summer in the store at gamestop to avoid the crowds....My husband waited till just before the holidays to get his daughter's ds and had to deal with the crowds.....I was the smart one! He also bought guitar hero for both of them and had to fight with the crowds.....They each got a ds and ds games and guitar hero and a guitar....We didn't have a lot of money to spend on Christmas all thanks to the economy.

I shopped in the store, but I know my mom did all of her shopping online (except stocking stuffers).

My mom did some of the shopping for me I braved Walmart at off times. The worst was Toys r Us kids everywhere aghhhhh....

i did mine online. easier for me, that way i could stay in and avoid getting all worked up about having to wait or it just beeing to many people in one spot.

my lovelt stbx forces me to accompany her to Hell, umm I mean Wal-Mart

I did a little bit of both...

I was hoping to find better deals online...somehow, even with the bad economy, I didn't find the great deals like I have in years past...

I've also been shopping in stores...its been fun romping around doing crazy stuff with the family...we make it into a game so the crowds don't drive us crazy! We do get some odd looks though! hehe

Grocery Stores were absolutely packed with folk this morning !

Is there a danger of anyone going hungry just because the Stores are closed for ONE day ?

Bah, humbug. I kept the money for myself this year. Pllhhhh....

i started my shopping sat am at 9 and finished it all by 1pm that same day. i went out with a list and stuck to it. luckily i didn't buy games and stuff for the grandkids so i didn't have to hit toys r us or those non-union, discriminating walmart bastards. i hit 5 stores and that was it, all within a five mile radius(the mall is just down the road from me).

no online shopping for us this year, we had to wait to get dh check before we could go shopping, that kept us on budget.

Bought "everything" online. Hate crowds, actually hate to leave the house anyway. Only had two items that needed to be returned.
I guess you could say, online shopping is MY xmas gift :-)

I did both and the online at overstock screwed me it was the only present I got for my mom this kickass silver ring and it was instock when I ordered it then two weeks after it didnt' ship they told me that they didn't have it. Never shop there again. But over all in the stores and lots of people.

AMAZON!!!! And i spent a fortune!

Hubby hit the stores. I like online...Overstock and Bluefly. Those are my favorites.
