You have to change your eating style. There are tons of choices, it's just changing from your current diet to a High Protien/Low fat/Low carb/High Fiber.
Set times of the day during which you can eat. like from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Stop eating for the night at least 3 hours before bedtime.
And get creative. I take my greek yogurts and put them in the freezer, and they make a great substitute for ice cream.
Eating lots of food high in Fiber keeps you full longer, foods high in Protein give you energy and help burn fat. Cutting out carbs and sugars isn't easy, but you get used to it after awhile. Asian lettuce cups make a great replacement for bread in sandwiches. Of course drinking plenty of water, real fruit juice. No soda, or caffiene. limit cofffee.
3 dedicated meals a day, with 3 snacks, mid-morning, afternoon, and evening. Try to keep to a 1200 calorie a day diet, which doesn't sound like a lot, but when your eating mainly protein and fiber its quite a bit of food.
These are the thing that's that have kept me from gaining tons of weight over the last 29 years with all the psych meds I've been on.
Take care,

Cheetos are one of my, "If i'm really having a rough day, down in the dumps" and just need a pick me up.
I keep a 6pk bag in the pantry, but only let myself eat one of the small bags.
everybody needs a cheat now and then, and one bag of cheetos will not kill all your hard work!
