Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I am not sure if I am BiPolar. I have been diagnosed with Depression but I have crazy mood swings to the point I do get angry. I haven't seen a Therapist about it as I lost my Health Insurance when I left my job. I have no ways to calm down as I don't have anyone to take over my duties when I do need some time off. My fiance of 4 years has had an affair and acts like it's no big deal. He told me because I was crazy and always angry that it was my fault. He needed to talk to people and be social and away from me. This didn't help me. I have so much anger and hatred towards him. Yet, I feel like I was never really what he wanted. I get upset and hurt a lot because of this. He doesn't understand why I get angry and seems like he doesn't want to understand. He uses it as an excuse for him to go out and see other women. We have a 2.5-year-old-daughter and he isn't very interested in her becuase shes a girl and at an age that he isn't great with. Or so he says. I get upset because I'm stuck doing everything. I clean her potty, cook for her, clean up after her, I put her to bed for her nap and bedtime. I'm also the one that gives her baths and takes her on outings. I get angry and let him know that it hurts me and I'm having a hard time. Yet he checks out. I don't know what to do. I feel like more panic attacks are in my future.

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...
so we need to deal with whatever it is that is triggering the anger and not just the anger itself. There's a limit to what we all can bear. Some things we can control better than others and it's good to know what we can do and then take steps to do it. I wish you strength and understanding.
But my guess is that being in an abusive relationship would be more than enough to cause depression and anger.
I would either stop what you're both doing or let it go and work on being good parents
You'd have to see a doctor in order to be diagnosed.... I hope that you're able to find one.... I agree that daily up's and downs don't 'sound' like BP to me.... It seems like you're under a lot of stress though.... Big hug......xo
