Generally, with lack of sleep I tend to go off on my ex girlfriend (who moved 2mo ago due to BP) when she hurts me. She says nothing to me and I do the same. She plays and says not one text? She knows I'm bi polar and still madly in love with her. She makes that comment so I text last night with no reply. This AM she texts sorry I was out w my friend (not sure what that meant). She has a small surgery schedule for today. I asked if she wanted me to go like I have been the last year. She never answered I took it as a yes. Today she says I didn't ask you. I replied but you never say no. I text 3 times (which is amazing for me). The last text ended in I'm disappointed. her reply was wow. I don't even feel manic which is amazing to me. I did write an email. I'm trying hard to wait until Saturday. She expects a hurt or guilt trip text. I'm here to keep my "good" behavior up! Thanks.

Life has been really hard this past year. I'm really feeling down and alone. I can't talk to my family about my depression and anxiety their not very understanding about it. It's really hitting me since my mother passed a few months ago, plus stress from having to eventually move. Also having my niece coming around who suffers bipolar and refuses to take medication for it. Its been...

When i was in the ER February 16th 2025, i was being admitted to ICU where i was for 3 weeks, then had to relearn to walk for 3 weeks in another hospital rehab floor, the nurse told me something that made me feel for over 18 months now that i was finally *safe*. She told me that the guy who raped and beat me 21 years ago now almost 20 years at that time, was in prison as of a month before that...

That you use Ex- and that you keep "Playing" is just asking for stress and trouble...
Human behavior! You are right - not good : ) I've been told, you can be friends with an Ex - but really, distance and healing is needed. Trying to stay friends, and have text and email - "trips"... setting yourself up! Now that is a regular bipolar thing! LOL
Thanks GW
You don't have to be co-dependent, OR let an Ex play with you....
You could TRY and Not text her a bunch of times, and blame her for leading you on....
Just an idea, I know it sounds strange - but nothing wrong with TRYING a Healthy choice : )
Much luck to you : )
I think once you're both over what was once an intimate relationship friendship can be pursued...
But it doesn't sound like much of a friendship now at all just a lot of painful games..
If it were me I'd either end it completely or at the least have the discussion of whether or not there's any hope of being a couple again..
If she says not then I'd cut ties and walk away..
I'm sure there is someone out there who could really love you and make you happy..
I agree with Gina this sounds more like obsession and not healthy at all....xo

Maybe try to join a singles group to get out, there is a site called meetups.com, I know its on the east coast in U.S., but I know if u do an internet search u can find singles groups in ur area. Please don't stay stuck in a one way relationship, it will only lead to more hurt. hugs, tedi
I can't stop thinking ... And wondering ... I feel like this is a start to a really long road. It sucks being alone and thinking!!! I'm glad I can't vent on here .
