Steadying support, TC. Watching noise sensitive people deal with the overload is enough to make me grateful for my hearing impairment. Good hearing often looks like a horrific burden from my preternatural quiet zone.

I am still not all the way past wishing I could hear well enough to keep the noise sensitives in my life from taunting me, though. They are, indeed, an irritable lot. Most days I still think I'd trade in a heartbeat. Always something, huh?

thinking of you, i too am ridiculously sensitive to noise and cannot cope with radio or tv or a lot of people, particularly when you have people shouting at each other to be heard over background 'music'. hugs
