Hi, I'm Steph. I started with this board close to 10 years ago. I have tip toed in and out and I left for a very long time. I was TwoSides if anyone remembers. I have been going through a lot as of lately and felt I really needed the support. So to those of you that I have never had the pleasure of meeting, nice to meet you. And to those that remember me thanks for having me back. I have a poem to share with you in order to define the way I have been feeling. It's been very hopeless and I have developed a new driving phobia after 22 years of driving just fine. It's draining and it's been really intefering with my life. My anxiety is through the roof and yes I am on meds. My moods have been up and down and I'm going back to the pdoc in a couple of days. Hope you guys can relate to the poem. Any thoughts would be great ;)
I live inside a box
With rocks and gravel on top
Like a captured goldilocks
Shadows cast across the floor
No windows, no doors
Just me and myself
No way in, no way out
Wondering, pondering about
Trying to find an escape
Release is what I anticipate
So I continue to wait
For a knight that won't come
Happy endings are just a lie
As I sit here all I do is cry
I will always be along
Insanity has claimed me as it's own
I don't belong
This world is too much
I feel like I'm been sucker punched
Living inside this box
With rocks and gravel on top

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
