Just the way that I am

I know Im loved

Just the way that I am

With my paranoid ass

Constantly looking out my windows at night

On the lookout for all the bad

When the worst of the bad hasnt come in ten years

I know that Im loved when my kid tells me

That my fears are merely an illusion

Just a trick of my mind

Just a slight of the hand

Like a full house

Of course a full house would likely be a winning hand in cards or a crowded dwelling. I think in poetry we need to go with what we put out instead of fiddling with it. Of course fiddling can be done with a violin too, but I digest!

I like to fiddle with my poetry because my college professor once told me I have to keep fine tuning my fiddle. Anything wasn't ever perfect with him--he always told me REVISE REVISE REVISE!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
