Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
The need for help is apparent but like they say if you dont want help no one can make you get it. I really don't know what to suggest but tough love maybe. sometimes it is hard to think clearly and time inpatient is all that seems to help some of us.

Ultimately these are questions for a psychiatrist.
I would say if he is hurting you but refuses treatment, then you have to kick him out of the house. But you would probably find better answers to this in the group "Friends and families of bipolar". They would have better answers. This group is really a bunch of crazy people yelling at one another.
Can you tell I'm trying to be a CL? hahaha.
One cannot and should not kick a family member out for having cancer. One should not complain about their vacation being ruined because someone has kidney failure. He is having brain failure. To kick him out of the house despite what he is doing to your stress levels, is not an option. At least I could not do that to my son. Even if he hit me and destroyed my peace, he is my sick child.
Yes, at this point sweet one, you are going through the kind of hell only a higher power can help with. Every second keep watching your breathing patterns, keep praying, keep breathing slowly from 1 to 10 if panic comes on.
dont worry about the xanax for now...it seems like you need it. My prayers are with your son and with your family.
And yes, Serequel makes one a zombie but it is good for times like this one it seems might need to take more. Please call the doctor and make sure continue to breath easy.
My heart goes out to you and I know it will all be ok.
