For depression, talking it out in therapy, creative outlets and going for walks are what help me cope. Sometimes a med tweak with my doc.
I think gratitude is my best tool.... When I feel grateful I don't feel nearly as bad... I used to write out 5 things to be grateful for each day and I still do if I start to sink into a depression
1. my faith
2 my comfortable little home
3 my sweet pooch
4 a nice hot cup of tea
5 my great DS relationships
The things can be large or small but feeling grateful feels good..... Big hug... xo
