He was a coworker and we aren't sure if he killed himself or if it was an accident, waiting on the autopsy.
I feel numb, in shock, I miss him. I think of our talks, I really liked him.
And now I'm just stunned. I can't believe I won't see him again, and I wish I'd made more of an effort to spend time with him.
I'm really feeling so sad....

Life has been really hard this past year. I'm really feeling down and alone. I can't talk to my family about my depression and anxiety their not very understanding about it. It's really hitting me since my mother passed a few months ago, plus stress from having to eventually move. Also having my niece coming around who suffers bipolar and refuses to take medication for it. Its been...

What a shock and it will take time for reality to sink in I'm sure. When some one dies at such a young age with out warning whether suicide or sudden death it always feels unreal.
I still feel unreal about my best friend and that happened years ago. I still miss her too.
Sending my sympathy in this time of sorrow.
I'm just in shock. It really sucks to never see him again,
I wish I'd made more time for him, maybe I should take
more time with other people. I should think about this.
Twice during the years I spent at my last job, there were untimely deaths.
Even though I hadn't spent any time outside of work with either person it was, as you say, a terrible shock.
In the case of one, it was a heart attack. In the case of the other, it was as you describe. It never was made clear if it was suicide or an accident.
I did as you're doing. Remembering my interactions with them and wishing I had done more.
And I felt shaken, sick, and very sad.
I'm so sorry that you are going through this. I'm sorry that your friend is gone. How very sad. you have my deepest sympathies. (((((Hugs))))))
