I don't like being depressed during the holidays. I started taking a new medication it isn't new but it is new to me I am now taking wellbutrin SR 100 mg a day . I hope I feel better on it . It is suppose to give me more energy . I have been depressed for months and my doctor has tried to stop it by adjusting my medication first by increasing my current antidepressant, then by increasing my mood stabilizer and now we are trying a new antidepressant . Hopefully this works.

I take 450mg of Wellbutrin a day so you may have to take more than the 100mg. I hope not, but just wanted to let you know it works for me.

Good luck on your medications. I just had my dosages adjusted, coupled with being back home from the hospital and am feeling a lift in the depression. I hope you can also get some relief

I am back on Wellbrutin again. I have been on it off and on through the years. It works well for me, but it does take about 8 weeks to kick in. It is a good drug, old, but good.

I take it only in winter for SAD. But I cut it into quarters, and that seems to help. This was the winter I was doing to get a sun lamp, to sit under, but it never happened. Perhaps next year?

Update I am doing well on my new medication wellbutrin and I am no longer depressed and I have energy. I am so relieved!

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.
