I am so excited I got my B'day present yesterday, a Fiddle!!!!!!!!!!!
For a very long time, I have wanted to learn how to play the Fiddle and play Celtic and Blues music.
But I think it will also be very therapeutic, and will do alot in the way of helping to remain mindful and present.
How many others play musical instruments? and Do you find it Therapeutic?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I play piano, flute and piccolo but I don't find it necessarily therapeutic -- more often, for me, it's tedious and frustrating. :(
Maybe I should try an autoharp but it goes so much better with a decent singing voice and that I certainly don't have.

absolutely yes! very therapeutic....a spiritual feeling for me.
I have a beautiful violin, which one of my sons played, but it was something that I could never get a good sound on. I also love the sax, but my hands have been so bad lately, I haven't been able to play it. It brings out the blues/jazz soul in me!
