Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Sorry I haven't been around for awhile. I've dealing with fatigue. My son's grandma blood sugar got really low and went to the hospital over a week ago. We're not sure what happened but she's feeling a little better but they have her at a nursing home for 6 weeks while she recovers. She's had to do this before when she had her colostomy operation a few years ago. I spoke to her yesterday and asked me if I can bring her home when she is released. I told her, "Yes". I'll have to remeber how to get there because it was hard to find even with Google maps.
So you can see I'm still experiencing a lot of stress. Of course depression has hit me like a truck. I don't really have anyone to comfort me nearby. I get scared and cry easily. It's hard for me to do stuff when I feel like this. I'm tired of depression sneaking up on me. I know it will happen. It's just that I don't when. I can feel fine one day and horrible the next. I know this is nothing new to all of you.
I've been looking for another job but not with the effort would of normaly gave it. It's one those things that makes me anxious. I want to buy a modest house for my son and me. It sounds like a stressful process but it's something I wanted for a long time. Since there's so many programs for low income people who want to buy, maybe I could find on that could help me accoplish my dream of home ownership. That's one of the reasons I want a job.
The world becomes a tougher place as time goes on.

Give yourself some space to breathe and live in the moment of a little more calm.
Try and work through the depression and look for the positives of the situation.
I had the same worry when I was with my late husband. When we found out he had cancer it was just devastating. When he passed away, Eric's grandma, Lynne, was the only one to offer us a place to live. So we moved in with her and watch the rent go up steadily here and most other places. I've applied for housing but the waiting lists are so long its takes years to get help.
Sorry this was such a long reply with me talking about my housing woes but that's how I feel. It explains a little about our situation.
Thank you for caring. I'll try to takes some time to relax. Big hugs my friend.
