Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. My mom had a hysterectomy at age 26, she is now 54. She since has had treatment for Hep C(48 weeks) that was successful, but as a result has ended up with congestive heart failure. Her mother died from CHF at age 54.
Now my mom has had another biopsy and is facing another surgery, we just need the pathology back to see how extensive it will be. It may be cancer, but even if it only a step down from full blown cancer, she will still have to have a surgery. I will hopefully find out tomorrow what the actual extent is. I'm am hurting so bad for her right now.
I really just need some prayers and good thoughts coming our way. We have an appointment with a surgical oncologist next Tuesday. She has just been through so much.
And of course, she is holding strong for me(she lives with me and my husband-has since we have been married ~12 years). She is the strongest woman I know, and I really can't let myself break down now.

Sorry to hear your mom is going through such a hard time right now, but from what you have share with me, she sounds like a survivor.
Your mom is obviously an extremely strong lady and she will pull through this.
You, your mom and your family's' are in my thoughts.
