yes, I met two of my friends from DS in reallife and had a blast

I've met a couple and 2 turned out to be my best friends I talk to just about everyday on the phone. It was a very , very , good experience.

I'm living with a DSer friend who became my bf after a time!

I met a friend off here once she was local and we used to meet everyweek for dinner until she moved out west.

I am looking forward to meeting someone else from Missouri who live mear my grandparents this summer. We will meet have lunch and she will show me her town. She is only about 1 hour away from where my grandparents live.

I've met up with people off DS quite a few times. Some of them I still keep in touch with & others I just simply don't bother with because they were shitty. I've had more positive encounters than negative ones.

I met one person who lived near me.
We talked via Messaging for a long time, before I felt comfortable meeting up with her.

It turned out we had a great time, spent hours talking in a coffee shop

My current bf is a DS member, but the twist is, I didn't know that until after I met him!!!

Oh, yeah, I've also met one other person in the next city across the river from me; I really like her, but she's also almost always in a crisis (that she works hard to control)..and it was wearing on me, so I had to limit our contact to DS. It is a bit of a risk meeting someone local, because if the contact is not a favorable one, you're stuck with them knowing you are not far away....especially if you have any reservations online, I strongly suggest you think twice about it. In that regard, I think it's kinda like car-shopping. The picture often looks a lot better than real-life. But not always!!

YEAH!!! He hasn't been on for a while, because he's homeless, but he's "DeepWater".... :)
