I have been on Seroquel for awhile now, and my doctor recently upped my dosage about a month and a half ago, my depression swings seem to be worse when they happen like before medication, and my irritation seems to be higher than normal and I am coming off more aggressive again.. I have bipolar 2 by the way. any suggestions?

I would suggest you go back to your Dr. Seroquel may not be the right fit for you. I'm bp 1 and I know seroquel isn't the best fit for me but it works wonders for a lot of other people.

Was he trying treating a particular symptom? I'm wondering why he upped it.

Your pdoc only knows what you tell him/her. If Seroquel isn't doing right by you speak up....the object of using medications is to help you function better in your life if the medication is more hindrance than help your pdoc needs to know this! Keep track of your dosages and your symptoms sometimes keeping a log of your moods and medications can help pinpoint the problem....Just a thought...It takes time to sort all the medication issues out and at times you will feel defeated by the process, hang in there!

It's best to discuss this with your dr. I'm pretty sure none of us have a phd or doctorate.

I'm sorry that's happening. I didn't do well on Seroquel and had to switch. Hope you can work on this with your doctor.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
