Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I know you read! And cut and paste quick my friend!
My big target is when I share "what worked for me...." I get slams, Gina your tough love is not appreciated, Gina only on hug Crisis, Gina no one thinks your funny...
So the self proclaimed understander's - seem fit to make active, talktive people - feel they don't belong. We need to remember Any support group is a group of sick people and not take someone with a small mind's insults - as representing the whole board!
LOL we have members that come back every six months to get rid of people, then POOF! IF you want to shake things up, at least fucking hang out! But no - they know what's best for the board and mallay begins : )
You are totally welcome, that your music irks me is totally acceptable too! : )
They know how to stop a manic - the 18 months of sadness? might take FOREVER to get a med that helps 32%
So thinking hi to low is part of the dx - let me tell you, not so much : )
Plus - saying your bipolar or not, does not change what color your shirt is your wearing : ) Dx - give a direction for coping skills and possible chemical relief : )
Our suicide rate is more than 10-20 times that of the rest of the population (which includes the depressives).
If you have not seriously fucked your life more than several times, nearly managed to kill yourself several times either deliberately or accidently then I think you can conclude you are probably not bipolar. That would be based on having wild ideas, major risk taking and probably running up and down a airport runway naked claiming you are a new low cost airline.
If you are bipolar and having way too much fun then be prepared to have your life completely destroyed on the down turn.
Either way I suggest you get a psychiatrists opinion now..
btw I saw what happened on W&T, it is a very small group of mostly long term members with it's own unique character - I don't think you should take not feeling that you don't belong there as an indication of anything in particular.
