So I am sitting here looking at my scars and reliving the cutting that gave them to me. I am remembering how I did it and what it felt like. I am remembering why I did it and the feeling of relese I got from the act. I don't want to cut and I keep reminding myself why I am not doing it any more. I just need a little help getting through the tough moments. I do not need to go to the hospital right now and am hoping that I can get through this without a visit to the state hospital.
I need ideas how to get through the moment, please.

Go put on a funny show (youtube or download one) and eat ice cream and watch back to back episodes until you feel better. Anyway, that's what I do. You have to find a way to lighten your mood.
It will get better *hugs* Also you might want to call your doctor and get worked in to see them.
You hold on, and know your not going to die, explode, fall apart....

A good trick for me is using the Serenity Prayer like Q&A
What do I have to accept? The urge
What can I change? I don't have too
The wisdom to the know difference - you've found it before, search hard now : )
Your in my prayers and hope - wishing you peace and comfort ASAP!!!!
Can you tell cutting is not in my personal baggage car? Not to worry. There are plenty of problems to go around... Still, I find my old habits easier to modify if I acknowledge their benefit and find another source. Release (venting) emotions is an important benefit in my personal madness.
At the very least, there is strength in sharing. I'm rooting for you, sweetie. Hope you find your way.
