Lithium was short lived for me.....

I was constantly sick to my stomach on this drug and couldn't keep anything down. Stooped Lithium two dayz ago and stomach went back to normal. Tomorrow I start new meds. Depakote sprinkle capsule.

Will be taking whole. But according to my best friend who is also on this drug for seizures..... it does not bring on nausea.

Lithium's side effect was just too much for this girl to handle!

I am still on my Risperdal though!

depakote is what i am on even when i don't eat it doesn't bug my tummy..its helped me stay stable alot

Boo lithium! (I just bitched about it in another thread.) I've been weening off for the past two weeks, and it was supposed to be another 2.5 months of weening off, but I think my pdoc is going to take me off of it a lot quicker because it's interacting with my Tegretol and giving my vertigo/dizziness/hallucinations.

Also, lithium has given me a nodule on my thyroid, acne, weight gain, stopped doing much for my mood a long time ago, messes with my seizures and my seizure meds, etc. etc. etc.

Lithium has been very, very good to me but I know some people can't tolerate it and it's good there are other choices.

What happened to your Geodon? I thought you did super great on it? Nice to see you around BTW..

Whem I was suicidal and went to hospital- they took me off the geodon stating that it wasn't a good mood stabilizer for depression and also took me off my zoloft stating again that zoloft was bad for depression and then they upgraded my diagnosis to schizoaffective disorder. So my moods have gotten worse and geodon wasn't cutting it anymore.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
