iam 8 months pregnant about to have my first child has anyone gone through delievery on lithium how did it go for both you and the child ?

Have you told your OB/GYN that your on Lithium, because your not supposed to take it while pregnant. If you haven't divulged this to your OB/GYN yet you need to ASAP for your babies safety.

yes my obgyn knows iam on lithium and I have followed up with psych consults. It is safe to be on a low dose well delievering if all those involved ei patient doctor obygn and psych are all in agreement.... my question is has anyone gone through this before?

U might opt to ask pharmacy.
Lithium does what! calms the mind n causes men n woman difficulty in reproduceing. No biggy, yrs ago the goverment put it in water source to reduce population.
so your baby should be mello. Hopefully after baby arrives, during wee hrs of morning u will be able to get some shut eye. Mothers don't forget those sleepless days/nights.
My adult son's when they were in high school maded sure that they would never have babys.
I miss having a grandbaby from ea of my 2 son's.

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
