I'm feeling hopeful and in control , I decided I wanna be a nursery teacher , being with children is great let alone teaching them and affecting their lives . I also decided to study child psychology on my own , AND in my spare time i will be teaching Ecotect , which is a computer program , I emailed auto desk to become a certified instructor .
Do you think I am on the right track or should I call my doctor and tell him what I think in case the mania has kicked in.

Hi zeinna, just want to let you know that today/tonight/tomorrow this DS site is to be going through some migration...guess that means we're headed up to a cloud in the sky...so pretty quiet right now and for the next day or two.

It's always good to have a goal, and I am happy you're feeling better.I think you did answer your own question in your post though. Don't you think so?

As a teacher with some form of bipolar, i find that mania has gotten in the way of teaching. I teach in an urban area and, while i was medicated, got manic and really lost support of many parents. I would not suggest choosing a career where parents really would be spooked knowing u could get this way. Teaching high school maybe a diff story but preschool .....sorry to say..... Might not be such a good idea. Teaching computer software is. Can u be a software trainer full time?

Lots of mental health professionals have MH issues so that is a great idea for the future.

It sounds like you have wonderful goals.. You do seem to want to accomplish several different things at the same time.. Do you think your hypo??..
You've mentioned taking on 3 different programs on at once.. That's a lot ..

I think it's a great idea. We all need to have some goals and you are trying to do something good for children that will also be great for you. Go for it!! Best of luck.

If you could wait a few days and see if it is mania or not then you would know. I wouldn't just run out and do something on the spur of the moment but if it is something you have been thinking about for some time and have given it a lot of thought then I would go ahead and do it.

    I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now.  I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed.  So many bad things have happened since my mom passed.  One thing after another it seems.  Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up.  Thank...
