Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

last night, calm as can be, I realized that I will eventually succeed in killing myself. I'm breathing and still putting one foot in front of the other. But I feel hopeless at ever going back to school, working full time, moving away from home. I feel hopeless. But it's not a sad hopelessness, more of a serene acceptance. I still have another week before I see the new counselor. I'm afraid to tell her what is really going through my head. I do feel I need someone to talk to besides you all here. It's just gonna suck building up trust with her.

So I have been having a lot of health issues and my cardiologist felt that he didn't get clear enough images of my heart in the office, so he wanted to do a Trans-esophegeal heart Echocardiocgram in the hospital. I was pretty nervous about it, because I've never had any procedures related to my heart or any other major organs. I've had knee surgery and thyroid surgery, but to me anything to do...

If you're in a depression coming on here and talking about seeing a new therapist is a good thing... Perhaps for your future thinking of taking one or two classes would maybe work.... It doesn't have to be all or nothing and certainly not all at once.... Big hug....xo
Love yourself hon none of this is easy (((hugs)))
If you feel like it's too much to handle, please call the National Suicide Hotline: 1-800-273-8255. I wish I was there to give you a huge hug in person. Having helped a friend through suicidal thoughts this year, I want you to know that it DOES get better. Keep fighting and know that you DESERVE to have the support network and life you need.
You're in my thoughts and prayers.
Take care.
