Hubby told me that my mother in law was gonna dye my hair the color that I wanted and instead it was a completely different color. I should have gone with the gut feeling when she first told me she couldn't get burgundy. That's the color I wanted. SO>>>I went to the store and bought my own burgundy for the next time she does my hair and I am going to tell her to use the color I bought it was really cheap too for some reason she and the hubby told me it was gonna be expensive. But Revlon's Color Silk at Walmart is only 2.97 a bottle. Hubby told me it would cost 14 per bottle boy was he off. So the next time I am getting a burgundy bob. This time I got a copper auburn bob and I look like more like my mother than ever and that repulses me. My mother dyes her hair auburn. Anyhow here's where you can view the after picture as promised. Tell me what you think?

Thanks everyone for the comments. My hair dye cost me 6.30 for two bottles since my hair takes more than one bottle. I have extremely thick hair that i hate but the good thing about thick hair is that it can take abuse that fine hair can't and when i get my hair done it doesn't get as damaged because it's thicker and can withstand it. That's the only good side i can see to thick hair is that it's resilient. it hurts to comb it when it's really long. And it's a bother to take care of. I hate thick hair!

why can't you just dye your hair yourself?
BipolarPrincess
i don't know how to do it myself. And I can't see the back of my head. My mother in law is a beautician and she takes pride in the fact that she can do my hair for free as her gift to being a daughter in law. So I let her do it because it makes her happy. And every time i had my hair dyed a friend or relative did it for me so I wouldn't screw it up.

I have very fine, ever-thinning hair. I'd trade for yours any day!!! ;)
BipolarPrincess
I constantly need to tell my mother in law to thin it out this time I didn't bother because it's easier to take care of when it's shorter which i am thankful that the majority of you told me that a bob would look good and I chose the length of my bob so it was really just my mother in law doing what she was told to do. She didn't cut it any shorter than the customer wanted. The last time I had her bob it it was shorter and I regretted it. This time the only thing I regret is the color because my step daughter picked it out. I didn't want auburn. i wanted burgundy. But I can't wait to tell my mother in law that she doesn't need to buy color the next time because the color is already bought all she needs to do is cut, dye and style. Thanks everyone

If the work issues were not enough, I have so many health issues. It looks like I may have a heart problem. I'm scheduled to go in the operating room at the end of the month to determine once and for all if I have what is called a PFO-a small hole in the heart that you are born with that causes blood clots to pass through the left and right atria, and go up to the brain. They think this is what...
