Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

When the mania is at it's highest and your brain is going 100 mph on that hamster wheel, do you ever stop what your doing and go to a computer brain game and just play it for a while, against the clock. of Timed Mahjong, or Freecell, or Solitaire....or Timed WordStacks?
When you put your brain against these logical puzzles over and over again until you beat the clock or set new time records, it works down the mania in your brain, after a while it calms it, tires it, sets it back to a more normal pace.
And when you get to this point the optimal thing would be to go lay down in bed. Not to force yourself to sleep, but just rest if that's all your body will allow. Let your body and brain rest from the constant manic frantic energy. While your resting quietly do a mental exercise in your head, like counting up to 20 and back to 1 then up to 20 and back to 1 and so on and so forth. The trick is to keep it at a very calm pace, don't speed up and don't slow down, keep it in a very meditative zone and just let your mind and body rest.
Make sure the room is very cool. Have calm music in the 432Hz or 528Hz range playing, tons of these on YouTube. They work on certain parts of your brain for meditation, healing, sleep, rest, many things. And they do work, I'll attest to that.
These are things you can set a part of your night aside for to rest and sleep. Stopping the crafts is a physical choice you have to make. Then you replace it with a more "mind busy" "body, mind, soul" relaxing exercise. You don't have to do this all night, but giving it a good 4 hours each night would probably have you see a large change in what your suffering through now every day.
If you want to talk more about any specifics my friend just message me.
Take care,

kuno1978 have to deal with the woman who lives down stairs constant complaining she is trying to have me evicted
the office says i am good and making noise at certain times is just living noise and not to worry
but it annoys me and i hear her complaining in the day time when moderate noise is allowed some things with the crafts make noise but i am good between 8-10 so i do not have to worry just annoying
i take benadryl and lavender to relax and sometimes it works and just sit and try to calm down helps
