I have one week left in my apt and then I will be homeless.
I have been laid off for a week now and have no money to pay the rent.
I have a friend I met online who is going to let me store my stuff in her
shed. I have never actually met her, will go over there tomorrow and meet.
I will be sleeping in my car, it's so hot out it's gonna be hell. I knew this
day would come. I was hoping to make it through the summer but no
such luck. I will be off of DS for a long while, maybe forever.

Like so many have said I don't even want to imagine you being homeless especially living where the heat is so extreme. When I was growing up we where homeless for a brief time living out of our car in Florida. Thankfully I was able to escape this with school during the day and if lucky a friends parents would let me stay for a few days so I really do understand how devastating this is.
Also remember you can hang out at the library during the day where you have access to air conditioning, comfortable seating, restrooms, books, magazines and computers through which you can look for employment and help with shelter and so very important access on the computer to stay connected to DS and all the friends here who care and worry about you.
