I am feeling better than I did yesterday. A little bit is better than none. I am still feeling very depressed, and today I am feeling extremely irritable and depressed. On the bright side,I only cried once today, instead of all day like the last four days. Thank you to those of you who prayed for me, it was much appreciated. I truly did feel suicidal the last Few days. I honestly don’t know how I made it through the week. It was pure hell. I just don’t want to go to the emergency room because They don’t do anything for you there anyway but tell you there’s nothing wrong with you and go home. I’ve had such horrific stories of the ER that I just don’t even want to go there unless I’m being dragged in there by an ambulance. So anyway, my question is this. I have mentioned that I’ve been in severe pain with my, more so than my usual back pain in the past week and a half. I have had injections in my spine in the past. They haven’t really helped a whole lot, and they seemed to make my depression and anxiety and irritability worse than it already is. I have an appointment for a steroid injection on Monday morning. I really want to try to do something to help my pain, but I am afraid of what the steroids are going to do to my mental health, which is already, as we know, in a severe state of affairs. I don’t know what to do, because if Things get even worse than They have been, I don’t even know if I’ll survive. On one hand it might help the pain, but then it might not, because it hasn’t really helped before. But if it’s going to make me even more unstable it might not be worth whatever pain relief that will come out of it. Does anybody have any advice on this? Should I get the injection and take the risk, or should I just deal with the pain and try to move forward with the pain? I really don’t know

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

It's been some time since my last post...sorry. I've been going through a challenging time with the sale of my home, purchase of a condo and my adult asperger son that lives with me. I've had days where I couldn't get out of bed, days where I stayed in my pj's and days where all I managed to do was eat, drink fluids and take care of my Sweet Mia kitty. Sweet Mia came to me from a shelter about...

As for steroids, watch out for becoming manic
