I feel like the world is toxic to me, I've never had healthy people in my life, healthy people don't like to hang out with sick people.
So I've been surrounded by sick people since childhood. And I hate the things I've seen happen. I hate the way some people think. I hate that I can't stop all the evil things that happen every day.
I wish I could truly isolate myself from it all, I wish I wasn't aware of it all.

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
Sometimes id rather be a baby cause I wouldnt have to care.
I decided not to care about things that I can do nothing about.
It has helped me an awful lot. When they trot out the next atrocity for me to worry about, I just tune it out. What is the point of me getting all upset when I can do nothing to change it.
I know it has made me harder and less caring. It has saved me a lot of anguish though and my mental health has been more stable.
I think the mentally ill wouldn't be plagued so harshly if there wasn't so much to be concerned about.
I used to be highly interested in politics until I realized how frustrating and uncaring-of-the-people they can be... Like dark said, I had to just stop caring and tune it out.
I don't have TV. We illegally download any shows we want to watch... No commercials, no news... It's nice :) I screen my phone calls like a mad woman. If a friend calls, or family, if I'm not 100 percent okay with talking to them at that moment due to whatever random shit my brain is throwing at me... I just call 'em back later.
I'd like to think the human race will wake up from the greed one day... but I'm pretty sure I won't live to see it.
If I think in logical and realistic terms... *shakes head....*
That's why it's so good to be a little crazy... it's the only place any of my optimism can come from.
That would mean that I stop caring about my need for a live-in lover taking care of me. I have been unable to find such a person in 30 years of searching. There is no avenue I haven't explored in this quest.
Should I really stop caring about what I need, just because I can do nothing about it?
Interacting with anyone is painful. I am always aware that I am not anyone's first priority and the pain of that is overwhelming.
I have been to dozens of therapists, and am finally on meds that work. But meds only do what they are designed to do - they do not provide LOVE - which is what I need much more than meds.
