I think I know why I'm feeling so bad

This post will be a little graphic.  I think I'm in the beginning stages of menopause.  My evidence of this is that I seem to be having a light period between my regular ones.  I looked this up and it said this can happen during premenopause.


I am going to make an appointment with my gp dr. on to find out if this what is going on and get some help.

I had to have a hysterectomy when I was 34. It was AWFUL. Overnight menopause. It was bad for a few years and now I'm good except for some "dry" issues. I can't have hormones because I had a clot after my surgery.

Steadying support while you work through it, Jen. I am post-menopausal and I LOVE life without the monthly roller coaster ride. I often feel like a kid with her own car keys. . . I did my menopause au natural and it was rough, but it went ALLOT quicker than my associates who dragged it out with HRT.

Healing hopes while you find your own way through it.

I hope you have an easy time of it. i was early with menopause (47) and it has been pretty much plain sailing. such freedom - it is wonderful.

Thank you both. Maybe I should do mine naturaly since it seems to be the quicker path. I they sell black cohash that is suppose to help with menopause.

Jenn I went through early menopause in my late 40s and it timed perfectly with when things started to go down hill for me. I think the changes in our body messed up my meds and chemistry. During that time was the first time I experienced depression and suicidal ideation. Never once did my shrink or any doctors ask, "are you menopausal?" Wtf? Good for you for taking inventory and looking after yourself. Having the heads up early on will save you heartache down the road.

Jenn I went through menopause at 40 it was abrupt and I believe medication caused but I got through it. I went into a pretty bad depression that nothing seemed to lift and I went on the patch for awhile to help with it and it did help. Chinese herbs also helped me a lot so did regular exercise! I hope it goes easy for you but monitor you depression....
