that's great. what's her name?

i went and looked at some basset hound puppies last week, and would have got one, except both the females were spoken for. my next dog is going to be named daisy, so i better get a female. might give a male dog a complex naming him daisy. :D

Her name is Lady--she's a husky lab mix. We saved her from the SPCA in our local area. She is really cute and she's still only a year old and she's huge!

That's very cool. God rest his soul--I used to love my sister's hound "Doc." He was great. I always got mad at how my brother in law would treat him.

We have a pig scale we use for weighing the pigs when it's time for ..... well, you know. We like to run the dogs through it too from time to time. In fact, we just did it last week. Lil One -- didn't even register; Toby the Aussie/Golden - 50; Jake the pure Golden - 85.

What if Lady realizes that she's never seen you before? Is she friendly or protective?

She can be both--she is deffinitely loyal and she deffintely loves car rides--she's been in a couple. She deffintely tries to knock you down if she has never seen you before. She jumps on people even my caseworker.

I remember years ago, my step dad had a half Great Dane, half Black lab - big and BLACK, we lived in the country and Capu --sp? (his name means Keep Out in Hawaii) He would jump to greet me, outta the night! Knock me down every time : )

i love the way big dogs'll climb into your lap(or try to). Like they're teacup poodles!!!!

She sounds really pretty and really big. I have an English Pointer who makes a great barker, but not much of a guard dog. He loves everyone.

I usually only have had big dogs and love them very much. My three dogs recently died so we got some new dogs and I caved into my wifes desires and got two small lap dogs. Our third dog is a mid size Catahoula. I love the Catahoula the most.

They are great for security. Most gang members are scared of large dogs. They have a limited knowledge of dogs surrounded by pit bull fighting rings. Only the wiser older gang members know better.
