Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
First, work on the depression. Forgive yourself for the weight gain. Then, see your doc.
Exercise! It makes us feel better and lose weight. Of course, you'll probably gain muscle at first, so concentrate on building fitness and the pounds will come off.
Take a dance class???
I belong to a group, we had a discussion about dieting. A couple of us have been advised not to diet by our doctors. We've been advised to make sure we eat normal meals at normal times.
Maybe you need to work this through with your doctor and see if they have any advice for you.

Please try and go about this in a sensible way. You need to stay healthy and realize it's not going to happen over night but it will happen.
You have no reason to hate yourself, you sound just like me. This is not your fault. Please PM if you would like to talk. Take care of yourself.
I found eating fruits and veggies and nuts to help a lot w/just a little meat or chicken. Exercising for 20 min. a day made a big difference. I try to go for walks when I can too. Nothing big, just a few blocks.
Why do you need to eat before you go to bed? That is one of the worst things. Is it because of meds? If so, you can just have toast and milk.
I hope this helps. I know the feeling, it's painful. But you can do it. I'm down to 152lbs. now and I'm still working on losing 10lbs. more.
If you "screw up" it's ok, just go back to it the next day. It's hard to change eating habits, takes time.
