This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Worse than the harshest of storms
It seems that no one understands me
Not even my therapist
My deepest wish
Is that once
They would just walk a mile
Within my shoes
Inside this deep field of thorns
Not even from within does the sun glare
into my gloomy heart
Then maybe they will see
What it feels like
Not to be free
From the chains of this torture
That is gleaming deep within my soul
I used to like standing out in the rain
until the thunder and lightning would frighten me so bad
That I would jump outside of my own shadow
All I wanted to do was cry in pain on the inside
Imagine being my therapist and looking from the outside
Upon seeing my deep rooted pain that I struggle from within
I feel like I am in the worst hell imaginable
But, how to get out, I am not sure it is plausible
It saddens me to see
That I keep wishing for something magical
Something inspirational to fill this hole
That is just so empy inside that I feel neither hope nor pride
I have even been on celexa, zoloft, lexapro, effexor, Vistaril, and nothing seems to stop this monserous disease. It gets immune to all of the drugs and continues to attack me.
