So, I'm in this acting class. I have gone back to school, so I'm at a community college and I'm taking some classes. Now, it's hard for me to meet people at school because I'm 23 and most kids (there are a number of adults too) are fresh out of high school. Last summer, i dated a 19 year old... na didn't work out. I just recently got involved with a 20 year old... we didn't have anything in common. Oh and he's my scene partner. Our scene is almost finished, we need to pick new partners. I have someone in mind, he's the best actor I saw on stage and I'd love to work with his level of dedication. But here's the problem. I think he is so fine, he really revvs my engine. I think he's hott, I think he's sexy, I think he's a good actor, and I want him. I love his manner, and his creative state of being. Now there's a program called the MET school. It's for kids to go instead of high school, they go here and do internships and the like. Well this one I'm lookin' at I found out happens to be in the MET school.... he's in HIGH SCHOOL!!! Damn it! Well, oh well. But should I still ask him to be my partner? I think it would be fun to work with his level of energy and enthusiasm. But I don't know if I could act and put on a facade like I never really noticed him other than his performance. Maybe I should just steer clear. Damn it I wish I was 18.

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.

Racy Rafael doesn't sound indecisive as much as he sounds respectful to his elders. :) In many cultures, shaking hands is very commonplace and appropriate -- more so than in other cultures.
Good luck with your acting project. It sounds really fun and interesting!
they get what they want usually. i wouldnt let it sting for too long. he is just a boy anyway right, you found out hes not up to your speed. maybe you will become good friends and when he matures a bit, it will come back around, you never know what the future holds
xo
Rafael and I did a great scene together. There was intimacy, violence.... it was great. So much fun working with him and getting to know him.
It was so great that our classmates wanted to see it again. We did our final performance and they clapped loudly for us and said encore! That definitely didn't come close to happening for anyone else.
Our professor asked Rafael and I if we would work on the scene further and perform at the Show Case. He said the president of the school will be there, it's really important to him, he only selects the very best performances. I was psyched.
But the same day I learned about this is the same day Rafael brought his g i r l f r i e n d to the stage and posed for pictures as she took them with her nice camera.
STING!!!!!
I was fighting back tears.
Of course, we really got along and I totally fell in love with him and... he's got a girlfriend.
I'm going with my acting friends on the NYC trip and Jessica bought Rafael a ticket.... that same day he brought his gf, he bought her a ticket so we can aaaallllll hang out.
Fuck.
Now I'm really upset and I have to keep rehearsing with him till May 4th.
It's like I'm pissed or something and I don't want to talk to him ever again. He's also my muse for a painting/photography assignment that has yet to happen.
I just wish I could forget about him!!! I am so preoccupied feeling hurt, I can't study my lines for rehearsal for the play tomorrow.
Anyway, it's a disaster.
I don't think there's anything wrong at all with dating someone younger.. nothing... at the same time teenagers are a lot younger then even 20's emotionally and in maturity... I think that they can be very vulnerable...
I hope you meet that special somebody soon..x
O dear .... many of us warned you. Fantasies can be fun until they get way out-of-control and overtake our thoughts and actions.
You're obviously a very smart and talented lady so why not channel all that toward something more positive for yourself? It's not healthy to set yourself up for heartbreak and disappointment. Take care!
