YAY! I won the court battle this morning and was awarded the order of protection against the neighbor who attempted to murder me with a dagger in March of this year.
The justice system DOES work!
My neighbor went off his meds in January 2009 and was getting compoundingly more violent with each day. He was blue papered and is in a max confinement mental facility now.

The next step is going for attempted murder. We have our foot in the door. The office of SART: Sexual Assault Response Team is going to notify me when they have further information from the DA about taking it to the next level.
For now he's Blue Papered which means he's locked up against his will. The police are seeing to it that he stays there.
Just curious - What is his DX? Why did he go off meds in the first place?
