I have no friends just my parents and i'm living with them to take care of them there in there 80s and 90s.
But what i did to make things a little better is I'm a foster mom for a animal rescue.
To all of you out there: Let's just all stick together & lean on each other!! Anything I can do to help any of you, please let me know ;)
as for feeling isolated, it's very true. people in this town treat me as if it was contagious. when ever i meet a new friend, as soon as they find out they vanish. even peopel who have similar prob;ems in their own family. even the people in my church were like that. people acted as if i was out to steal their husbands.
the only friends i have, and i do mean only, are my friends online on the internet. and some of them have become wonderful friends, better than any friendship i've had before
and my mother is incredible. she actually spends hours looking at stuff online so she can understand my problems better.
Being a father did help for a while until I figured out that I was teaching my girls to fear everything just like me. They say you can't teach a person how to be bipolar I refuse to believe it because my girls seem to act just like me . I would take them to talk to some one but I am afraid they will be labeled just like me. I was diagnosed as bipolar when I was 14 and my parents just wouldn't believe that so of course no help. Now I can't even help myself. I read what people in here write and hate to say it but am happy at times just to know I'm not alone. Then I feel even worse because I realize that other good folks are having to live just like me.
at this time I have no friends.
I'm trying to somewhat become friend w a person that I sorta of
