How many days have you gone without Sleep

Just curious. My record is 7days but then I was in college and popping speed. Currently going on 5 days but my mind is still sharp as a tack. At a certain point it changes from sharp to obsessive psychotic and then it's just down hill from there. Wife is already talking about ratting me out to the pdoc, can I help it if I just happen to be ambitious and driven.

After my hysterectomy I couldn't sleep for days. I lost count. I ended up in the hospital. Every time I would start to even doze, I'd have a hot flash and drenched in sweat and have to change clothes. Impossible to sleep like that then the hallucinations... shiver.

5 days. I was hallucinating at that point.
This was before I was on any meds.

It is physically impossible for me to sleep without meds. And some nights meds don't even help. Last night I started with a trazadone, didn't work so an hour later took a xanax, still nothing so I took an ambien. This was all while I'm laying in bed. I've learner if I take my meds and am up I miss that window when I can fall asleep, but last night I could not sleep.

84 hours without sleep, then 2 hours sleep another 8 without and then a big dose of klonopin put me out for 8.

4 days or so, except with initial manic breakdown...no idea there...but a long time.

The most is 2 years for me....right now I am working on 5 months without any sleep at all.

I am tired. I am ready for my heart to just give out I am THAT tired.

Just one. One loooong day, that lasted 57 hours.

However, most nights I get between two and five hours of sleep, and most of that is broken sleep. Yucky.

For 6 weeks I went on only 1-2 hours a night. Immediately launched a terrible manic episode.

I've been two weeks with only 2 hours some nights and none the others. It is always what leads up to full blown mania for me. I usually go running to my pdoc after the first week. I like the ambitious and driven feeling too but I know where it can lead, don't wanna go there. Good luck!!

I've had up to 5 days with out sleep.

My mind was mush man, complete mush. I NEED sleep. Some people seem to thrive with out it.

Well with the help of speed i would say 4 days. Normally insomnia its 3 days. Then im climbing the walls.

I think the worst was about 7-10 days. I was out of my mind manic and doing all kinds of crazy things. Mostly snorting massive quantities of cocaine and booze.

Sleep everyday, even when hypomanic. Difference is I JUMP outa bed rather than lay there going uuuuuuuuhhhhhh. Sleep is my favorite drug, gotta have it
