How could someone miss being ill??

I'm getting to the point where I need to call my pdoc up and have them remind me why I am on meds in the fricken first place. I hate being a drone. That's whay I am a droned out drone. It's like a flat affect. Nothing.....no happy no sad no paranoia......I miss my BP illness!

Eek!!!!!!!!! I could never miss the symptoms of my illness. For me it means having major depression. I dont like "flat" or "foggy" either, but the alternative for me just IS NOT an option.

Next week I plan to talk to my pdoc about the effect, maybe you should too. The weather seems to have greatly impacted my state of being. It has been gloomy and raining here for four days and now that the sun is out it might take two days to come out of it. It is frustrating, I know. I hope you feel better soon. Hugs

I did call the pdoc up today and got the secretary that's filling in for my normal one.....and she reminded me to stay on my meds to stay well.....but if being well means having no emotions then it sucks! Bring on the paranoid mania! I wish it was back again!

I know what you mean. That flat, nothing state is horrible. I call it "the empties" cuz it feels like there's just nothing there. You are void of all emotion. When I get that way I know I need my meds adjusted. It's almost worse than depression. I hope you can get out of that funk soon. Hugs. Beth

I dont miss it cuz its still there all the time. I have my good days and bad days but they are better with medicine. I do not miss being psychotic and I never want to go back to it either. Its life or death for me so I choose life. Being bipolar is hard enough but being bipolar 1 is hard to deal with for me. Why miss it? Its a living hell and it f**ks your life up tremendously

No, meds are supposed to make you feel better. Call the doc.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
