So I'm here at the computer and I hear a clock alarm coming from outside the office. It's loud. I step outside to find it to turn it off. It vanishes. I go back to the office and sit down, there it is again! Obviously, I'm hallucinating, and there's nothing I can do about it right now. And yes I know why. I just have to wait it out. My Pdoc will be back in the office on Tuesday. And I just have to be aggravated. But damn I just want to go to sleep. But I guess last night was worse. Last night I heard "In Love With You're Ghost" by Indigo Girls all night long through the walls and we don't have any neighbors. Don't get me wrong it's a good song but the same part over and over again? Good grief!

So I have been having a lot of health issues and my cardiologist felt that he didn't get clear enough images of my heart in the office, so he wanted to do a Trans-esophegeal heart Echocardiocgram in the hospital. I was pretty nervous about it, because I've never had any procedures related to my heart or any other major organs. I've had knee surgery and thyroid surgery, but to me anything to do...

I've had the 'music playing over and over again' in my head and listening to something real DOES get rid of it as an annoyance, for me.
I've never hallucinated a ticking clock, but the real thing drives me absolutely mad!!
I would definitely try to block that out by playing something else!!!
I know lots of people on here have mentioned specific meds that helped stop their auditory hallucinations!!
I hope you find some way to stop yours!!
Good luck!!
