Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I'm trying really hard to be positive and use good coping skills but today has been a real struggle. I cant see a therapist and psychiatrist until my insurance goes through. I tried going for a walk and breathing exercises...that just led to hyperventalatuing. Taking a shower. Music. Nothing seemed to ease my demons today. I have been taking my pills over a week now they seem to help my motivation to do things but my mind is still the same. I was laughing for no reason and it turned into crying. Idk what I'm doing anymore. I'm trying to carry on with my life and be the mother my kids deserve. I just feel like I'm a defect. I suck at living. And I don't think it should take this much effort to live. I wish I had people...even one person. That was by me I could have as a friend. It's hard to do this by myself.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

A week is almost no time in finding stability for BP..... I know what you're going through is really hard however you're going to have to try and be patient sweetie.....
Deep breaths...... We are here...... Big squishy hug.......xo
stability can come and go... I know it can leave you breathless..
going through the paces is sometimes all you can do...but i have learned you can take solace in even that.. sometimes having the routine and a job well done can give a kind of affirmation. Peace.
It is hard to do this on your own, it's incredibly hard to be a Single Mom on your own without the added stress/anxiety/and difficulty of a Mental Illness thrown in. If there are any actual Support Groups in your area where you might meet with other woman, it might be a good way for your to meet other moms like you.
You can call your local Hospital, Library or Chamber of Commerce to see if any such Groups meet in your area.
