I deff believe the Powers That Be , track certain topics ....flagged discussions on Politics etc...

I also have noticed , when DS is having a Topic discussion on something, an advert will pop up , along the same lines as the Topic was .

As for someone actually "watching" me from my pc...no. Although I do believe the technology is in place to be able to do so .

It's known that the government DOES monitor the internet, emails, social media looking for "key" words and phrases to find terrorist threats. Yes, you are being watched in a sense. Unless, you have said something to set off bells and whistles you are just another bleep in cyberspace on their radar. I think you are probably okay.

This will set off the Paranoia Bells.

Newer homes are wired so that the TV can be used as a watching devise from an outside source .

They can look into our homes , even if the TV is off.

NOT that this technology is being used in the average Joes house...but it's out there

I don't think there are little people in my computer out to get me but .

I think my computer is evil and likes to do crap to make me crazier then I currently am and partners up with my real life people to see how much it will take to send me back to the hospital.

Sometimes I wonder. I mean I know they can track social media and where you've gone on the internet and even emails......sometimes I think they can even see the stuff I type on my word documents. A lot crazy I know and then the paranoia sets in and I begin to withdrawl. I just now crawled out from a hidden spot I've been hiding in for quite a while and to all the people who might have worried about me while I was in hiding I do appologize for I cannot stop this illness only hope to contain it.

Camera Security in some stores is very sophisticated !

One store where I worked had Face Recognition software in the Security System.

The camera would be aimed at a suspicious person, and then be able { by facial recognition } follow the person through out the store automatically

And as far as I know

NO there are not cameras in the Dressing rooms mirrors, or in the Rest Rooms

But who knows ?

I am pretty much an open book. I maybe should care about the folks that track my online life to try to sell me crap, I just don't.

I don't get paranoid very often, thank goodness, only when I am psychotic. I would imagine it can get pretty scary if paranoia is a problem for you.

I say let them watch me in the stores, I could not care less, I hope all those cameras help them keep theft/loss costs down.

First of all, I am not paranoid. My fears are totally founded in reality. I have little private life left thanks to ggle.

The government is watching me and you. My father was a special agent for the misgovernment. I know what they were capable of 40 years ago...and today we have the Patriot Act.

I always feel the cameras on me when out. Weird...

I am paranoid about cameras in public bathrooms & changing rooms. Weird...probably 99% irrational.

Actually, Richard, I have done that from time to time.
