I know many of people here has experienced anxiety. To update you on what's going on, My husband was diagnosed with a cancerous stomach ulcer a few weeks ago. That caused me to be anxiety riddled. I was already stressed with things I was doing. I was very busy this summer. His doctors here in Oregon a taking weeks before getting any treatment started meanwhile he has terrible stomach pain. He told a neighbor friend about this and the friend thought that was outrageous it was taking so long. She called Cancer Treatment Centers of America. My husband spoke with them and filled out the paperwork. He is set to go to their Arizona Facility next week. This is good because he well be getting help right away it sounds like. He wants me to stay behind because he doesn't want the house left alone and our 3 Chihuahua's don't get along with anyone else. I respect his wishes.
Of course, I'm a complete wreck know he will be away for a few days and that I can't be there for him.
Because of my period, my hormones are causing me to more anxiety riddled. It think it will be done by next week. I can't function very well now (crying, very shaky, body aches especially my legs, tired, very nervous, etc.) I did cat my pdoc when my husband was first diagnosed and she got me some valium. It helps a little but the dose doesn't last long (3 to 4 hours). I want to be strong for my family but my body and mind has other plans. When I'm having an attacked, it feels like my body is falling apart and my brain is going to explode. If anyone want's to share their experiences with going through tough experiences, I will be extremely grateful.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

First off, your husband is coming to a great place here in PHX. I've heard some really cool stories coming out of there. With that, your period...geez the perfect storm : ( : (
When I was in the middle of my episode last year, my mom had a stroke and a heart attack. Left me a shaking blob, with that and the kids I was toast. I felt like I was always on the verge of a seizure all the time..I was rx'd HIGH amounts of ativan but like valium it doesnt last long. Do you think that your pdoc can get you some klonopin?
I feel for you hun, I get the anxiety, its a friggin monster. I'd call my pdoc for the klonopin and just hold on, hour by hour if need be. again (((((BIG HUGS))) I hate to see anyone go through this : (
Do you have a therapist or could you see your pdoc a little more right now?.. If you have a Faith a 'minister' of the faith would be a good person to offer support..
Sub lingual ativan can help very quickly if you feel panic coming on..
Huge hug of comfort for you and a blessing..xo
I"ve heard great things about the Cancer Center. Your husband is going to a great place.
I hope the xanax works for you. If not I would try klonipin. I've heard it's great.
Good luck to you and your husband.

My goodness, sister, you've got a lot to contend with. Don't forget that in all this concern over your husband, you are going to need some support and understanding yourself. Of course you have that here, but I'd be getting on the blower to my pastor for a little support and comfort in that direction too.
Let's hope that once Aunt Martha leaves, the valium will do the trick. Good luck to both you and your husband. Be sure to keep us posted.
