I've had the exact same meal for Thanksgiving since I was born I guess, the same one my 'rents cooked, and short of improving the recipe's the same one I cook for my sons. Its like certain food has to be on that table or Thanksgiving will be so ruined! lol
I'm in the middle of cooking dinner! The pumpkin pie is almost done, the turkey is cooking. Unfortunately, we couldn't find anyone to share the day with! We could have driven 14 hours round trip to be with some of our children and grandchildren, but I am not feeling physically well enough. So, lots and lots of leftovers!
I love Thanksgiving. I have finished most of my garden, and produce, even though it has not frosted yet! I give thanks for my family and garden!
