The Great White North that there was NO Canadian Bacon! Who knew? Talk about your culture shock! I admit to having great affection for Canada and Canadians in spite of that.

Yes, I remember the offerings of peameal bacon up north. With apologies to the Quebecois, I don't know the French term. I never found fault with any Canadian cuisine
so I have to wonder why us residents of the U.S. never go out for Canadian food though

There's a Quebecois restaurant by UCLA in Westwood. First time I ever saw one. I went...and had poutine! :)

Having any food is reason for thanksgiving! I enjoy Chinese cuisine. When I was in Beijing years ago they had a Pizza Hut and a McDonalds and they were both crowded with customers. Go figure.
