Good jobs for people w/ bipolar?

I am looking for a job. All the jobs I've had in my life I've had a hard time keeping. Maybe it's the BP, or maybe it's just me. I have 3 kids and a disabled husband. When I work I always feel stressed and overwhelmed and end up qutting cuz I feel like I can't take it, or I blow up. I am trying to find a job that I can handle cuz we are having major money problems.

OH GOD EVERY JOB I GET MAKES ME STRESSED NO MATTER WHAT IT IS TOO. I'm in the same boat. I swear I hate it. And now I'm in a bad financial situation and I'm fearful as what to do when my funds run out :((((( I can dog sit...but that's not something that'll make a LOT of money.

I think its less a matter of what kind of job and more of who do you work for.

I work for an extremely understanding company. They are great and accomodating of my dr. appts. They don't know much about my bipolar, but they know just enough to accomodate my needs in that regard.

Thanks to everyone who understands and doesn't think I'm just a lazy gold digger. I am getting frustrated w/ this site cuz it seems like more people want to judge others rather than help anymore. No one is perferct and if they were they wouldn't need to be on this site to begin with. I try to be the best mom and wife I can be and if anyone can't see that then IDGAF!

I'm in a somewhat similar situation as you. I have to care for my 79 year old grandmother and I quit my job in December of last year. Between her knee surgery, then falling afterwards, several er visits, and still being dizzy, unstable (walking), etc it's a full time job. I was so stupid when a couple credit card offers came in and I got them (600 limit combined) now my school money isn't coming in I can't pay my bills, I'm not stable enough to work, and I can't even do so great in school.

Someone else mentioned it earlier as well and I agree, the best you can do for work is to work for yourself. Sit down and truly think is there ANYTHING that you have an interest in (such as crafts, writing, etc.) and do that. Last year, I spent the entire year doing my crafts and selling them in inexpensive craftshows where I knew I would make the money back. It kept me busy (my mind active) doing the crafts and then gave me money as well when I sold it and hearing people tell me how beautiful the stuff was gave me a good feeling. I am on what we call disability allowance in Ontario, Canada so that helps immensely. Is there anything that your government can give you for being disabled?
