I've been staring at an open bottle of pills for over an hour, wondering "Why not?" and also "Why bother?" at the same time.
I have no idea why I'm reaching here for anything, but I am.
I have been much worse off before and have made attempts, but I've never been this calm about it before.
I know I need therapy desperately, but my insurance has an unaffordable $45 copay. My meds have been modified five different times this year, with nothing really getting better
My weekend left me frazzled, but there was some fun too. Mostly, I've gotten over it, the good and bad. This is what it's like when I go numb to everything. I do what is needed but don't feel anything. I could get a million hugs from a million people and would not care if it had begun or was over.
While writing this, I've closed the pills and decided just to try to sleep. Maybe I'll feel in the morning, maybe something.

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Dreams are a nightmare, literally. Before antipsychotics, I dreamed nearly every night the same dream, all night long. Screaming, open mouthed faces all at once and an indeterminable number thereof and immeasurable volume. I did recently have a strange glitch in a dream that it was my wife's gave doing this, but that wouldn't explain this happening since childhood. The antipsychotics did away with this entirely, for nearly a year, but are no longer working. The dose on this medication alone has been tripled over the course of this year, for sleep, but it's d#$n hard to sleep when I'm dreaming like this.
If I flush the pills, I'll go completely unmedicated and would die, either from withdrawals due to stopping them abruptly or lack of other chemicals a body needs to live
Have you tried using a mood tracker app? That has been very helpful for me in seeing my lows and highs and how I am feeling before my mood switches.
Therapy is unbelievably expensive. Some therapists will do a sliding scale based on income. Here in my city, there is discounted therapy available by psychology students earning their Masters' degrees. I just pay the co-pay, which is $60 for me with my insurance. I go when I can, which is usually only a couple of times a year, but it's something.
It does sound like your meds may be playing a role in how you're feeling. I hope you feel better soon.
