Hey guys. Sorry I have been so unloving lately. Have had a lot on my mind. One of the things is...............I have, among other things, two different scenarios running around in my mind regarding my bipolar and meds. The big voice says that I should have faith in my God and quit taking my meds and that I will be fine because this is a leap of faith and that's what it's all about. The little feeble voice is afraid that I will go nuttier than I am right now. Believe me, I am pretty nutty right now. I just do a good job of not letting people know just how nutty. I hold it in a great deal. I don't know what to do. I feel like I should take a leap of faith and trust God, but on the other hand...........the devil has been after me lately. What if this is one of his tricks to see me stumble and fall in a big way and render me totally ineffective? I am scared. Any thoughts or feedback would be greatly appreciated. I still love you guys wholeheartedly.
Hugs,
Chelle

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

Peace,

Why must it always be a pure miraclethat we wait for, why can't a man be guided by the hand of God to create something to better our lives why does it have to be either or...?
Only you can decide what "the best you can" is. I believe God wants me to take meds and be the best person I can be. Satan has a way of tempting us to test God. xo
The flood waters were slowly rising, and the man stood on the porch of his house. A man in a row boat paddled by and told the religious man, Get in, the waters are rising! But the religious man said, No thank you, God will save me. The flood waters kept rising and the man had to go to the second floor of his house. A man in a motor boat drove by and told the religious man, Get in, the flood is getting worse! But the religious man said, No thank you, I have faith that God will save me.
The waters rose and soon the religious man was forced to stand on the peak of his own roof to avoid drowning. A helicopter flew by, and the pilot yelled down, Were here to rescue you! Hurry! But the man told the pilot, No thank you, God will rescue me. The pilot flew away, the waters rose, and the man drowned. The man was sent to heaven, and upon arriving, got to meet God. He asked God, Why did you let me drown? I had perfect faith that you would rescue me. And God said, What more did you want? I sent you two boats and a helicopter!
Sometimes our faith in God has to be seen in people.......xo
Vicky..........I do firmly believe that the hands of man are guided by God every day thus saving thousands of lives through Him. With my mentality, it is usually all or nothing though. I guess that's why there was not a third option given for me.
Shelly............The devil is on my back at every turn nowadays it seems. Is he trying to drive me crazy?
I just joined here and your post is the first and only I've read.
I had just read the above article about a pastor with BPD. It really helped me.
I took myself off my meds three years ago and ended up in the hospital. I hope I never do that again.
God Bless!
LOL Shelly. Point taken. Thanks!!
