Geodon Sucks!

The only thing I can attribute that I like about Geodon is it made me stable and made all of my disorders go into remission........

It took away my sex drive

Took Away My zeal for life

Made me a Zombie

And gave me headaches when I missed a dose or didn't have enough of it in my system........I should have thought long and hard about the withdrawls to this crappy med before I decided to go back on it again because the abilify didn't work.....

DOWN WITH AP'S! No more Anti Psychotics!!!!!!!!

Um ok? Antipsychotics have their place... You said yourself that it made you stable - is stability not a good thing? You also said it made all your other disorders go into remission... is that not good?

Maybe you could just try differing doses... I am doing that now.

Princess, I appreciate that YOU dont want to take meds anymore and that you have specific issues with some of the meds. How long ago did you go off all your meds and what supplements are you taking?

Please be alert to the possibility that you may begin to cycle and it may start with anger or frustration over meds that you DID take. Please take care of you.........xoxo

I currently take half of my geodon.....I take 2000 of fish oil this is my second day taking it and I already notice a bounce in my step.........

And Amal: The bad side effects outweigh all the good it could have possibly done me......I should have mentioned that........

You've only tried 2 APs, there are more than 30 of them out there. One is bound to be the perfect fit. How about Seroquel, lithium, clozapine, Risperdal, Zyprexa,Topamax, Depakote, Klonopin, Tegretol, Neurontin, Loxapine, Luvox. Trileptal etc.. One of these, or one I've missed is probably going to work right for you. You just have to keep trying. Hugs. Beth

Tried Zyprexa and trileptal too.....tired of the zombielike feeling I get......

Let me caution you that that little bounce in your step may not be a good sign.........it certainly itsnt from the fish oil. When I went off lithium, I felt I had increased energy and several days later, I crashed.

Please keep journals and track your moods and what is going on with you, it will be very important. If you remember right you felt great one day after starting Zoloft too. Please be alert Princess.

My hubby said as far as he knew I was manic more often than I was depressed and I was more productive and happier when manic........He said sometimes when I was manic I didn't crash I went right back to being normal when the mania subsided......I only know what he sees.....and I wouldn't mind being manic again without crashing....that would be nice........

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
